Dr. Nacman concluded a long and distinguished career in the academe as a professor for the University of Delaware and Widener University. A respected authority on astronomy, he employed and taught a distinctly multidisciplinary approach to studying the subject. Dr. Nacman earned a Ph.D. in astrophysics in Switzerland and is a member of the European Organisation for Astronomical Research. Though officially in retirement, he nonetheless stays active in his field by conducting research and collecting meteorites. He attributes his success and longevity to his passion for his work and the inspiration that he drew from his wife, who was also an educator.
