Since 1987, Ms. Taub-Albert has utilized her expertise in the treatment of speech and language disorders in school-age children at H.L. Johnson Elementary School. On a daily basis, she screens and evaluates children with speech or language problems. Additionally, she reviews individualized education programs, including placements and dismissals. Previously, she held speech-language pathologist positions with Boca Raton Rehabilitation, Sundance Rehabilitation and School District #170 of Chicago Heights, Ill. Ms. Taub-Albert holds a master’s degree in health science from Governor’s State University, where she also received recognition as an outstanding student in communication disorders. Active within her professional community, she is an affiliate of several education- and speech-language-related associations, including the Palm Beach County School Board, the Florida Education Association and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
In the near future, Ms. Taub-Albert intends to retire from the school district and open her own practice.
