Bernice M. Broussard is a retired teacher and author formerly with the St. Mary Parish School System. In her previous capacity, Ms. Broussard taught all subjects to students between grades two and five, and language arts to students between grade levels six and eight. She spent 33 years as a teacher, and is currently an author. Over the course of her career, she garnered a reputation of distinction for her strong points being listening and counseling. She also earned numerous awards and accolades throughout her career, which have included Teacher of the Year and other honors. As a retired teacher and modern author, she continues to strive for excellence in her every endeavor.
