For nearly three decades, Ms. Moro has ensured that special needs students’ educational needs are met as a teacher and department chair of special education at East Valley High School. Originally a history teacher, she entered special education through the inspiration of her friend’s child, a special needs student. She truly enjoys the children she educates and cherishes the relationships she holds with them. It is not uncommon for a previous student to visit Ms. Moro to share with her their own successes as a result of her guidance.
