CORAL GABLES, FL, June 7, 2012, Dr. Caridad A. Pascal, Founder of the B.R.A.I.N Academy (Better Reading Arithmetic Intellectual Networking), has been recognized by Elite American Educators for dedication, achievement and leadership in educational enrichment services.

At the helm of the B.R.A.I.N Academy, Dr. Pascal ensures the source of educational services for children with learning disabilities is always running smoothly. She specializes in developing individualized programs and teaching techniques for students. As the founder of the academy, Dr. Pascal is primarily responsible for overseeing 50 students and making individualized programs available to them; she also forms solutions to enhance students’ potential. She was prompted to establish the company by her discovery of the need for a specific environment where students with problems, who would not be able to achieve their academic goals in an all-inclusive setting, could learn at their own pace.

Dr. Pascal opened the B.R.A.I.N Academy for children with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, mild behavioral disorders, dyslexia, and writing problems. Working with 50 students, Dr. Pascal develops individualized programs that match their unique needs. At the B.R.A.I.N Academy, Dr. Pascal forms solutions that enhance each child’s potential. She also teaches students who strive to work in the field of special education at Miami Dade College. The courses at B.R.A.I.N include diagnostic testing and personalized learning programs, and children receive the tools they need to help them succeed.  

Dr. Pascal received a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a Doctorate in Special Education, both from Nova Southeastern University. She also holds accreditation as a reading specialist, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at Grand Canyon University. Ever passionate about teaching, she has taught in the Catholic school system for more 20 years. She attributes her success to putting her heart and love into everything she does, as well as being very religious and believing this is her mission. In her spare time, Dr. Pascal enjoys traveling, reading, listening to classical music, observing nature, and visiting museums. In the years to come, she plans to continue to learn and publish more papers.
