For the past 35 years, Ms. Stone has committed herself to educating and encouraging each generation of students to follow their dreams. She previously taught in a variety of schools, including 22 years in private education, before her current position with Cahokia Unit School District #187. Utilizing a Bachelor of Arts in education, she provides her students a broad foundation in reading, mathematics, social studies, English and science. In recognition of her service, Ms. Stone has received such accolades as Teacher of the Year, the Golden Apple Award and induction into Alpha Delta Kappa.
