ELLWOOD CITY, PA, July 16, 2012, D. Lee Caldwell Jr., Director of Bands at Lincoln Junior-Senior High School, a subsidiary of the Ellwood City Area School District, has been recognized by Elite American Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in band management.
Mr. Caldwell has spent nearly a decade building on an ever-emergent skill set that currently enables him to support the growth and development of students through music, and to serve as an educator that improves student achievement at his present post. He is in charge of managing the marching band, pep band, and junior high band, and teaching general music classes. Additionally, Mr. Caldwell assists with the elementary-level music program.
In his efforts to inspire the students he works with by being instrumental in teaching them how to reach and achieve their goals, Mr. Caldwell works hard to communicate with members of his community and parents to give students the opportunity to become accomplished future leaders. He became involved in his profession because he participated in the music program at his high school; he was in both the choir and band. Mr. Caldwell was named a VIP of the Year 2011-2012 by Cambridge Who’s Who, and he continues to strive for excellence.
