Dr. Dana S. Espinosa is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of the UNHCR Pedagogy Program at East Carolina University, where she offers insight and understanding to students at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Specializing in higher education administration, K-12 physical education pedagogy, and in the research of the area of upper body strength in children, Dr. Espinosa expertly orchestrates the school’s Master of Arts in Physical Education Pedagogy program. She has taught and served in higher education as an administration associate vice chancellor for enrollment management, executive assistant to a university president, associate dean, registrar, and a program director. Her research interest is in upper body strength in children. Her dissertation is “The Effect of the “No Pass, No Play” Provision of Texas House Bill 72.” Dr. Espinosa has been honored by the International Who’s Who of Professional and Business Women, Outstanding Young Women of America, and Notable Women of Texas.
