Dr. Edwards has a wealth of experience in all aspects of education, as she has served as a teacher for 21 years, a principal for 11 years and a district administrator for six years. Her responsibilities at the Deer Valley Unified School District included managing Title I and all district and state assessments, for kindergarten through 12th-grade students. Dr. Edwards’ greatest reward of her position was having the opportunity to positively impact both students and teachers with her expertise and hard work. After her retirement from Deer Valley Unified School District, Dr. Edwards never left the education industry. Currently, Dr. Edwards works as a consultant and as a college instructor, which allows her to communicate her expertise and vast knowledge to others in her industry. After gaining immense experience at every level of education, Dr. Edwards advises others in the education industry to be honest, open, and always be available to colleagues and students.
