PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, FL, July 16, 2013, Georgia Ann Bicknell, M.Ed., Education Technician with the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI), has been recognized by Elite American Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in course development.
In her current role, Ms. Bicknell assists in the development and editing of materials and graphics for printing, prepares slide presentations, and edits students’ coursework at the U.S. Department of Defense joint services school. The institute of education offers both resident and off-site courses in areas, including equal opportunity, intercultural communication, and religious, racial, gender, and ethnic diversity and pluralism to civilian and military personnel working with the American and armed forces.
Ms. Bicknell is responsible for working with the EEO training directorate, registering students for resident and non-resident EEO courses, as well. With more than 20 years of professional experience under her belt, she continuously strives for excellence in her endeavors; Ms. Bicknell is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education, Organizational Leadership and Development at Grand Canyon University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Barry University, as well as a Master of Education in Adult Education and E-Learning.
