With 35 years of professional experience, Ms. Rosales attributes her success as the health services director for United Independent School district to her hard work, education and dedication to helping others. In her position, she oversees 81 staff members, 50 nurses, health assistants and rest aides spread across 43 campuses. Drawing upon her strong background in policy and mandate research, she is primarily responsible for updating the district’s policies and procedures to maintain parity with industry changes. Pursuing a master’s degree in clinical nurse leadership from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, she is a board member of the area’s health education center, gateway community center and Laredo Community College for Nursing.

Following the completion of the master’s degree, Ms. Rosales hopes to become the executive director of her program.
