An educator for nearly two decades, Dr. Jami Jones retains an expertise in school media education. In addition to serving as an assistant professor at East Carolina University for the last five years, she published three books, entitled “Helping Teens Cope,” “Bouncing Back,” and “My Turn.” Ever passionate and dedicated to helping teenagers better themselves emotionally, Dr. Jones utilizes her research and school media to reach them in creative ways. A graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Jones holds a Ph.D. in information sciences. She is also a nationally certified school librarian, and a member of the North Carolina Library Association, the American Library Association, the American Association of School Librarians, and the International Reading Association.
