An expert in language arts and literacy, Jessica Lynn Metcalf has spent the last 13 years supervising and mentoring four staff members whilst managing 30 students at the beginning of their elementary education. As a kindergarten head teacher, she conducts activities in the classroom that incorporate decisive social, academic and life skills to the 5 year old children. Accrediting her success to her commitment and continued education, Ms. Metcalf holds a Master of Arts in reading and language arts, and a Bachelor of Arts in child study, both from Saint Joseph’s College. In addition to maintaining her affiliation with the National Association for the Education of Young Children, Ms. Metcalf intends to become a reading specialist in the coming years.
