BENSON, IL, January 6, 2012, Jessica S. Reardon, PE Staff Member, Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach, Head Varsity Softball Coach and PAC Advisor at Washington Community High School, has been recognized by Elite American Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in physical education.
For nearly a decade, Ms. Reardon has been following her dreams of helping young people to recognize and accomplish their goals. She currently manages physical education and development on the secondary level, coaches volleyball and basketball programs, and handles supervisory duties at the high school. In addition, she speaks publicly on topics related to education and sports when she is not actively teaching and coaching. Ms. Reardon has established herself as a high-status athlete and prominent athletic achiever over the course of her career, garnering such honors as official induction into the Eureka College Hall of Fame, the Limestone Community High School Athletic Hall of Fame, and the Eureka College Hall of Fame.
Ms. Reardon has long been determined to serve as a positive influence to the children of her community and give them an opportunity to flourish as future leaders. Inspired by an innate drive to motivate children to grow, Ms. Reardon has followed a path toward success as an educator and role model. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Teaching from Eureka College, and she has since received various teaching endorsements. She attributes her success to continually expanding her knowledge base to become better at her career.
Looking back and reflecting upon an illustrious career that has only just begun, Ms. Reardon pinpoints a major highlight as being her playing a positive role in the lives of the young girls in her school. She is proud to be able to foster encouragement in the students she teaches and help them to move forward in the right direction as athletes and educated individuals. Ms. Reardon enjoys remaining ahead of the curve and on target with developments and advancements made in physical education as a member of such organizations as the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, Interactive Fitness Trainers of America, and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. In her spare time, Ms. Reardon enjoys gardening, traveling, keeping fit, and playing with her dog.
