With 20 years of professional experience, Ms. Smith specializes in mathematics instruction. She teaches high school mathematics and geometry, ensures students are present in school and prepares final assessments for students. She became a teacher because of her passion for instructing others and her love for children. She attributes her success to her patience and desire to help others. Ms. Smith received her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in 1999 and is a member of the American Federation of Teachers, the MRC Learning Centre, the United Federation of Teachers, International Convention of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and the American Tutoring Association. She received a scholarship in 1996 from the Ministry of Education in Jamaica and dedicates her free time to volunteering at her local church.
