As superintendent, Mr. Pfeifer oversees the school system including staff and administrators. He chose a career in education for the opportunity to utilize his skills to serve students in public schools and work with other educators to prepare students for a better life. He attributes his success to his skills and support from his family and enjoys the possibility to work with his colleagues. The greatest reward of being a superintendent is Mr. Pfeifer’s chance to work with great teachers and administrators to ensure a quality learning environment.

Mr. Pfeifer earned a Doctor of Education in educational administration and organization from The Pennsylvania State University in 1999. He also holds a master’s degree in special education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from Hiram College. Determined to continually stay abreast on educational advancements and techniques, Mr. Pfeifer maintains affiliations with various educational associations, including New Hampshire School Administrators Association, American Association of School Administrators, Omicron Delta Kappa, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the Council for Exceptional Children. He is an active board member on various committees and associations including, the New Hampshire Partners in Education, the Commission on Public Secondary Schools, the Home Education Advisory Council of the New Hampshire Department of Education, and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
