Looking back on 29 years of experience as an educator, Ms. Barnette believes that her success is a result of her patience and hard work. In her current position as the assistant principal for P.S. 91 Albany Avenue School, she provides supervision, assesses student progression and compiles quality review reports. She graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education in 1974. Continuing on with her education, she earned a Master of Science in special education from the same institution. She is in the process of obtaining a doctoral degree from North Central University.

Moving forward, Ms. Barnette intends to further utilize her expertise in educational administration as a successful consultant.
