Accrediting her success to the support she received while growing up in a poor community, Dr. Davis-Allen has emphasized the instrumental role of the community throughout her 28 years as an educator. Carrying an expertise in curriculum development, educational leadership consultation, and home health services, she has proven herself to be a jack-of-all-trades focused veritably on the needs of others. On a daily basis, she is responsible for overseeing school assessments and managing the operations of her educational consulting firm, which has been in business since November 2010. Moreover, she draws inspiration from the No Child Left Behind Act, which has allowed her to institute positive changes affecting entire school districts. Dr. Davis-Allen is a hard working and focused educator dedicated bettering education through community initiatives. She holds a Doctor of Education in educational leadership, which she earned in 2003 from Nova Southeastern University. Previously, she earned a master’s degree in education from American International College, and two bachelor’s degrees from Westfield State College in psychology and education. To coincide with her industry experience, she is affiliated with the Council for Exceptional Children, the National Association of Secondary School Principals, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Phi Delta Kappa and ASCD.
