“If you really believe in something, you don’t give up” Ms. Stevens says of her motivation over the last 18 years. As a supervisor of special services for Warren County Public Schools, she is primarily responsible for instructing students with learning disabilities, developing special education curriculum, and planning programs that achieve maximum benefit for students at every level of learning. A graduate of Shenandoah University, Ms. Stevens received a master’s degree in educational administration after already obtaining a master’s degree in special education from James Madison University, and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and psychology. In the coming years, she intends to continue showcasing her positive attitude and ability to communicate with families, staff, and fellow administration in order to make a difference in the lives of her students.
