An expert in software design and education, Ms. Bryant is an adjunct instructor at High Point University and Forsyth Technical Community College in addition to her work as a Software Design Consultant. With over 23 years experience in the industry, Ms. Bryant began her career in data processing and within six months she was analyzing systems and designing new modules. She attributes her success to the support of her family and God and appreciates the opportunity to teach and build her own business at the same time. The most gratifying aspect of her career is having the opportunity to teach people, who are scared and nervous about using a computer, how to navigate and begin to use a computer to optimize their work. As an IT professional, Ms. Bryant has persevered and knows that in this industry you must never stop learning. Over her career she has had many accomplishments that have set her apart from her counterparts, however her greatest accomplishment thus far has been her years of experience in technology and IT and she has been able to apply this knowledge to her students through her teaching.
Ms. Bryant notes that it was her father who initially peaked her interest in computers and encouraged her to become more actively involved in IT and software design. Ms. Bryant holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems. She also received an Associate of Applied Science in business computer programming from Surry Community College. In recognition of scholastic excellence, she was inducted into Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. She has her Post-Master Certification in Information Technology, and was named “Outstanding Professional of the Year” in Education and Information Technology by Cambridge Who’s Who for the 2009-2010 year and the 2008-2009 year, respectfully. Ms. Bryant’s professional affiliations include the National Association of Female Executives. She is a market advisory board member of BusinessWeek and is an active supporter of the American Red Cross and local outreach missions. A career built on perseverance and hard work, Ms. Bryant advises others in her industry to pay attention to your education and apply what you learn to your daily tasks; Never stop learning and never take your education for granted.
