Celebrating 30 years of professional experience as an educator, Ms. DeLauder owes her success to her dedication and compassion for children. In addition to her duties as a fifth-grade teacher, she writes for the Maryland School Performance Program and the science curriculum for Montgomery County. She holds a master’s degree equivalent in childhood education from Hood College and the University of Maryland in 1990. Prior to this, she graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in home economics education. A member of the Maryland State Education Association and the National Education Association, she was honored with an entrance into The Maryland Governors Academy in 1999.
