Ms. Deethardt has been assisting people with smoking-related issues with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services for the past 11 years. She holds a Master of Science in family and consumer sciences from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Prior to this, she graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Consumer Science. She is a member of the Nebraska Rural Health Association and the National Management Association, and a former lieutenant governor of the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln.
