With 38 years of professional experience, Ms. Dechman attributes her success to the support and encouragement she receives from her administrators. Utilizing her expertise in art instruction, she has enjoyed an adjunct teaching position at Blackburn College for the past three years. Ms. Dechman holds a Master of Science in supervision and administration, with a concentration in visual arts, from the Bank Street College of Education at Parsons the New School for Design.

She intends to continue teaching, mentoring and guiding her current and future students.
