Mr. Frantz is a 37-year veteran of state government and is now continuing to give back to the community in his second career as an educator. He lends his talents to the University of Phoenix at their Madison Campus and Capella University, where he leads courses in humanities, historical studies and business management. He also serves as a consultant for The Winning Edge. With over 36 years of combined professional experience, Mr. Frantz attributes his success to continually keeping abreast of the latest trends in his field. He enjoys the opportunity to teach his students and is rewarded with the opportunity to watch as they grow, learn and become leaders in the field.

Mr. Frantz served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1964 with two years active duty in California and overseas with Iran Survey Project, mapping the area from the Persian Gulf to Russia. During his time in state government, Mr. Frantz worked in engineering, administration and management for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. He was an adjunct teacher and assistant professor at Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, for 23 years prior to assuming his current positions. Over his career he has also dedicated her spare time to his local youth hockey program. He has received various awards for his dedication to the youth hockey programs, including Coach of the Year Award in 1980, Service Award as President from 1974-1976, and a Citation for Extraordinary Service to Youth Hockey in 1974.

Mr. Frantz has publishes articles in the Wisconsin State Journal, Sun Prairie Star, Middleton Time Tribune, Williamsport Sun-Gazette, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Minneapolis Star Tribune and In Business Magazine. He has earned a Master of Arts in political science, with a concentration in public policy and administration from the University of Wisconsin in 1975, and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the College of Engineering at Pennsylvania State University in 1956. He is a certified professional engineer with the states of Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and retains affiliations with the American Management Association, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the World Future Society. He has received various honors for his hard work and dedication, including a Governor’s Special Award from the state of Wisconsin in 1993, Commendation for Public Service, a 25-Year Service Award, and an Exceptional Performance Citation from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in 1993, 1981 and 1977, respectfully.
