Ms. Bowman has dedicated 30 years to the field of education, and has garnered a reputation as a well-respected teacher who is recognized for her ability to light a spark in her students’ lives. She is always looking for opportunity to be a catalyst for change, and takes great pride in inspiring others to consider a career in education. An expert in the development and implementation of new projects and methods for the social studies department, and instruction, Ms. Bowman is responsible for teaching, mentoring and assisting students. Her dedication, passion and unyielding work ethic have enabled her to excel in her role.

Ms. Bowman earned a master’s degree in liberal studies at SUNY College at Oneonta, and completed coursework at Stony Brook University, State University of New York. She stays abreast of changes and advancements in her field through her affiliation with The Long Island Council for the Social Studies, The New York State Council for the Social Studies, and Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
