Inspired and motivated by her ninth-grade teacher, Mazie E. Will made the decision to pursue a career in the education field. Ms. Will has been serving in the industry for 38 years and has worked at Sul Ross State University for the past 35. As an associate professor in the Industrial Technology Department, Ms. Will is tasked with teaching and working with students, advising, recruiting, and mentoring. She is well respected throughout the university for her hard work and dedication, and garnered a reputation for her knowledge of computer applications, business education, administrative systems and technology. For her exceptional work, Ms. Will earned the honor of Collegiate Business Teacher of the Year in 2010. She attributes her success to her own teachers who prepared her for her career. In the coming years, Ms. Will would like to use her knowledge to obtain a consulting position. Ms. Will completed a master’s plus program in business education at Oklahoma State University, and is a certified professional secretary (CPS) and certified administrative professional (CAP).
