Bentonville, AR, October, 27, 2014, E. Ted Siebert, Biology Professor at NWACC, has been recognized by Elite American Educators for dedication, achievements and leadership in science.

Mr. Siebert started his career in the Navy and worked in real estate before getting involved in education. He started working for the college in 2003 and is recognized for his knowledge of evolution and soil science. As a biology professor, he is responsible for teaching two classes per semester, participating in the IRB committee, and researching science. He has won numerous awards for his work.

He attributes his success to his patience and persistence. Looking toward the future, Mr. Siebert intends to pursue a speaking tour around campus and develop programs that will help retain the number of male students on campus. Mr. Siebert is currently pursuing a Ph.D. He earned a Master of Science in agriculture at the University of Arkansas.
