Wray, CO, August 3, 2015, Julie Nichols, ABE Director at Morgan Community College, has been recognized by Elite American Educators for dedication, achievement and leadership in adult education.

Ms. Nichols knew since first grade that education was her path. She wanted to be a teacher growing up, and has dedicated more than 20 years of service to the field. She enjoys working with at risk individuals, helping identify their strengths and helping them learn in their best way possible. She works with students aged 17-59 working on their GEDs. She tries to bring a unique approach to her teaching methods and continues to tailor her techniques to fit individual student’s needs for learning.

Ms. Nichols takes great pride in her work and believes her greatest accomplishment is seeing all the students she has worked with graduate and the part she played in helping them meet their goals. Ms. Nichols is inspired by her students and wants to help them realize their dreams and be self-sufficient in life. She looks to continue working with students helping them be in charge of their own education, helping them take control of their future for years to come.
