Ms. Moore is honored for her professional longevity, having dedicated more than 30 years as an educator. Throughout her career, she aided hundreds of students in preparing to become productive, independent and self-supporting members of society. Many of her former students have gone on to attend college and find professional success. Ms. Moore sees this as one of the most rewarding aspects of the job and that is has always made her love her opportunity to work with children. On her 25th and 30th years as a teacher, she was awarded a plaque of recognition in her classroom.
After graduating from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Arts in home economics, early childhood education and family and child care services, Ms. Moore continued her education at Kean University. From there, she obtained a Master of Education in special education. In addition to certification in nursery and kindergarten students, she is certified in teaching handicapped and special needs students. Teaching for Ms. Moore had been a lifelong dream, beginning at the age of five. Furthermore, she is involved in her local church, Oasis Christian Center and teaching Bible studies.
Margaret Moore was originally selected for inclusion in EliteAMERICAN Educators in 2010 and 2014. We are proud to be featuring Ms. Moore again in EliteAMERICAN Educators for 2016.
